There is absolutely no problem with enthusiastic parents on the sideline - in fact, it's great for the kids! If they want to be like the professional players they idolize, they will need cheering fans to do it.

That being said, problems can arise when the game is taken too seriously by those on the sidelines. At the end of the day, it's important to remember that these are kids, and that the outcome of the game is far less important than the overall experience for the players.
